Meet Our Muse: Christina

What are you most passionate about in life?

I’m most passionate about media and storytelling. I believe the power of media, especially social media is free for you to utilize in order to tell and share meaningful stories and experiences.  I’m passionate about curating digital content on various social platforms that highlighting people, brands and events that matter. Media and storytelling, when done in a selfless matter, consists of creativity, relevancy, timelessness and growth.

When and how did you discover your passion(s)?

I always knew I wanted to be a storyteller through various forms of media. I remember when I was younger; I’d hide under coffee tables, and pretend I was reporting live at a war scene. I also remember pretending to walk the red carpet, interviewing celebrities… With a journalism background, I was able to explore many forms of storytelling. It was with countless internships, work experiences and published content in the fields of television, online and print that I realized storytelling can be much more meaningful, organic, raw, unfiltered and unscripted. My natural curiosity and love for meeting people was at an ultimate high. With new media, I was able to confidently find and explore who and what matters when it comes to telling stories and sharing experiences.

What do you want people to remember you by?

I would hope people will remember me as a positive soul, a hardworking determined individual, and the best mom I could be for my son, Elijah.

I’m currently hooked on, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

What is the best piece of career advice you have received?

The best advice I’ve received during my career path is nothing but encouraging, powerful words that I believe everyone should live by. A few things an editor and producer once told me was, “Keep pushing, keep forging your path. You're destined for greatness. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.” Another was, “Continue to inspire yourself and you'll inspire the rest.”

What is a quote or motto you try and live by?

"Live with kindness, act out of love, lifting your life higher, and your whole world with it."

“Love is the ever-present purpose that drives every other purpose.”

What do you feel most grateful for?

I had my son when I was 16 years of age and because of that, I feel most grateful for my son and my family. Without them I wouldn’t be who or where I am today. They are the most loving, selfless and understanding support system.

What feeds your soul?

Nothing makes me feel more alive than good food and a good run. Balance is key.

Which of your physical attributes do you love the most?

I'd say, my eyes, hair and teeth.
